After Saif Ali Khan’s public announcement about his affair with Kareena, his Italian ex girlfriend Rozza Catalano has been trying to concentrate on her career into Hindi films.
This beautiful belle has signed her first film which is titled “Shaurya”. It will be produced by Moserbaer and directed by Samar Khan. About signing this Italian damsel, Khan speaks, “I had been looking for a girl with an international face and Rozza was the first choice for the role.”
Apart from Rozza, this film stars Rahul Bose, Minisha Lamba and Kay Kay Menon. The music is composed by the very famous Adnan Sami.
Films are not the only thing that’s keeping Miss Catalano busy these days. She has also been roped in for a fashion based show on TV which will soon hit the small screen. Says the optimistic woman, “I am happy with the kind of offers I am getting. I am sure the future is bright.”
After having learnt six different languages, Hindi will be the 7th for Rozza but she is positive about mastering the lingo. For now we can just wait for this stunning actress to woo us on screen.
The latest buzz is that the young and talented Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has a crush on the beautiful Om Shanti Om actress Deepika Padukone. Dhoni has become a victim of the killing looks of the hot and sexy model turned star daughter of the former badminton champion Prakash Padukone.
Dhoni had sent an invite to the Karnataka girl to watch the T20 Future Cup match between India and Australia on 21 October 2007. And there were several speculations regarding Deepikas decision. However, the 21 year old beauty did not disappoint the 26 year old Indian skipper and came to watch the match. She was enthusiastic about the game and stayed till the end seeing the Indian team win and celebrate.

Self realization makes Vidya Balan lose weight!
The charming and chubby Vidya Balan has shed quite a few kilos of weight recently but not because someone had asked her too but due to a sheer self realization to look good in every character she plays.
“Recently I was in Toronto for two months where I used to go for long walks. That has helped get in shape”, she admits. Her appearance in “Hey Baby”, “Lage Raho Munnabhai” and the recent “Bhool Bhulaiyaa”, have been refreshingly different from one another.
But it’s not just her looks but the good wishes of both her fans and family that have got Vidya at such a level. Her strong willed attitude coupled with a lot of hard work has got her films with pivotal roles.
Talking about her forthcoming projects, Balan said, “Every script demands a different performance from the last one and as an actor, I want to continually play varied roles.”
At present, vivacious Vidya is happy the way her career is shaping up.
No kissing or love making for Ayesha Takia!
Now in the film, Ayesha has a double role. She plays John’s wife and secretary. Though she is quite ok with her role as the wife, but she made Kashyap rewrite the role of the secretary.
“The secretary is insane about her boss and desperate about having an affair with him”, quotes Ayesha, who has done away with the few kissing and love making scenes from the script. In fact, Ayesha convinced Kashyap to redraft her entire role to suit her interest.
This surely will come as a respite to John’s beau Bipasha. Now that’s what we call a “Starry Stance” Ayesha………

Now apparently Mallika has signed a comedy flick titled “Maan Gaye Mughal e Azam” which will be directed by film maker Sanjay Chhel. About signing Miss Sherawat for the film, Chhel said, “This will surely be her first step towards comedy.” The film is due to release early next year.
What makes things more interesting is that the actor who gets to share the screen space with the gorgeous lady is none other than her “Pyaar Ke Side Effects” co star, Rahul Bose. Now that surely looks and sounds interesting and if you are eager to see the daring damsel do the comic act, then “Maan Gaye Mughal e Azam” will be a must watch for sure!
Kapoor kids awaiting success of “SAWARIYAA”
It’s difficult to hit the headlines if you have put just one step into this ever increasing Bollywood business but if your film belongs to one of the top five film makers of the Hindi film industry, you are sure to grab all eyeballs.
This is the story of the “cute” onscreen couple Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor, who are exceedingly busy these days attending press conferences and social dos…all for their film, “Saawariyaa”.
Due to release just before Diwali, this Sanjay Leela Bhansali film has already raised hopes with its lavishly shot film promos. Though the crew is unwilling to reveal the plot of the film, it surely seems to be a must watch.
In fact a month before it hits the theatres, the songs of “Sawariyaa” are already a hit with music lovers….and for the two star kids there is nothing to worry ‘coz by now they have thousands of fan following.
We can now just wait and watch if this film can repeat the magic of Bhansali’s “Black” or “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam”.
Kareena Kapoor and Saif ali together?
No matter how much our stars crib for privacy, the gossipmongers just won’t stop buzzing. The latest grapevine has it the that Bollywood Bebo, Kareena Kapoor and the “Chote Nawab” Saif Ali Khan, have been seeing each other for quite some time now.The dou were seen together for the first time at the Lakme India Fashion Week which was held in Mumbai recently. In fact they were quite at ease in each others’ company. While talking to the much speculative media, Saif admitted saying, “We are together”.
While Kareena preferred keeping silent, it was apparent that her relationship with Shahid had come to an end. Saif who has been linked up with many other actresses after his divorce with wife Amrita Singh, did not seem to care for anybody’s reactions!
Many say it might be a publicity gimmick to promote their film “Tashan” which is ready for release, but the fact that the two have found happiness with each other cannot be denied. Second innings for MRS. NENE
These days Bollywood’s charismatic dancer Madhuri Dixit Nene, has rolled up her sleeves for her forthcoming films which will mark the second innings into films after a 5 year long hiatus since “Devdas” had released in 2002.
“Aaja Nachle” will be Madhuri’s first acting venture in her second filmy innings. For a woman who believes that dance is the prime form of relieving yourself from the pressures of day to day lives, what could be a better way to restart a career than a film based on dance?!

Rituparna Sen Gupta will portray the role of the victim and Rohit Roy has been roped in for male lead who will play Ritu’s husband’s role. Suchitra Krishnamurthy will play Ritu’s lawyer’s role. The film also stars Gulshan Grover and Reema Raghav. Shamir Tandon has composed the music for the film.
Mittal V/s Mittal is a story of a woman whose life turns into a nightmare after marrying her love interest. Feeling proud to have got an opportunity to play such a sensitive character Rituparna says, “My character is of a simple woman who ends up getting married to a man who is both mentally and physically sick who sexually exploits her.” She also adds, “Her miserable life compels her to file a case against her in-laws and finally emerges as the winner.”
Kunal Kapoor’s first on-screen lip-lock
Bollywood’s promising actor, Kunal Kapoor, is happy with his first on-screen lip-lock which he shared with Konkona Sen Sharma in ‘Laaga Chunari Mein Daag’. The movie was also Kunal’s first family drama and he shares screen space with Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan in the film.
“My first on-screen kiss, Konkona and I did it well, considering we did it in below-zero temperature in Switzerland with 50 people gawking,” Kunal told IANS.

Priyanka Chopra and Bobby Deol in ‘Chamku’
The success of ‘Apne’ has set the spirits high for the Deols and they now seem in a mood to revive their home production, Vijeta films. Their first film will be rolling soon in October with Bobby Deol, Priyanka Chopra and Arshad Warsi in lead roles.
Director Kabeer Kaushik says, “The film is called Chamku and we will commence it’s shooting in a month’s time. However, I can’t reveal much about the story.”
’Chamku’ will be the third film of Priyanka Chopra and Bobby Deol together after ‘Kismat’ and ‘Barsat’. After considering the fate of the earlier ones, we do hope and wish, this film clicks the ‘Kismat’ of Vijeta films.

This is what happens behind the screen of glamour and glitter. Recently, Bipasha Basu, who has dark brown hair, was asked to go dye her hair jet black by the ad makers of a popular brand of shampoo that she endorses. Bipasha got it done in hair stylist Sapna Bhavnani’s salon. Unfortunately, once the hair job was done, Sapna got a call form the production house to colour Bipasha’s hair back to original brown, claiming that it was their mistake and they had given wrong instructions to Bipasha.
Bipasha was shocked, but Sapna came to her rescue by putting her foot down and refusing to re-colour the hair. The two women took stock of the situation and convinced the ad makers that Bipasha sport black hair in the ad like she always does.
